"TEEN CHEFS IN TRAINING" - BEGINS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18TH


Join Ridgewood Parks and Recreation for a new, exciting program for middle school students, grades 6 through 8, "Teen Chefs in Training", beginning on Wednesday, April 18th, with HeatlhBarn USA at Habernickel Park, 1057 Hillcrest Road, Ridgewood!

All chefs in training will learn safe knife skills and food handling safety. They will also learn how to read and understand food labels, while learning about healthy fats and nutrition.  Students will work in teams, follow a recipe from start to finish and enjoy eating the end result! The program will help them become self-sufficient and health-conscious eaters. 

"Teen Chefs in Training" begins Wednesday, April 18th and runs for 6 weeks.  The cost is $120 ($130 for non-residents). Space is limited to 15 participants!  Sign up today!
