Community Blood Services Opens Neptune, NJ Depot


Serving multiple hospital systems in Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean counties

NEPTUNE, NJ (May 15, 2018) – A blood storage depot has been opened in Neptune, NJ by Community Blood Services. Dedicated to address the needs of multiple hospitals throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean counties, the depot is located at 2441B Route 33.


“Hospitals throughout central New Jersey and the Shore region now will have faster, more convenient access to blood, particularly in the case of an emergency,” says Dr. Dennis Todd, CEO, Community Blood Services. “As a result, they’ll be even more responsive to the needs of the millions of area residents they serve.”

The new Community Blood Services depot will serve Hackensack Meridian Health and its hospitals in Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean counties, including:

Bayshore Medical Center

Jersey Shore University Medical Center

Ocean Medical Center

Raritan Bay Medical Center – Old Bridge & Perth Amboy

Riverview Medical Center. 

Southern Ocean Medical Center
