Holiday Brunch at Community Blood Services in Paramus

On December 9th, 2006 Community Blood Services in Paramus, hosted a Holiday Brunch in honor of our dedicated volunteers at The Graycliff in Moonachie. The food was delicious and the holiday decorations at the Graycliff were beautiful as always. Volunteers work in many departments of the blood center such as donor canteen, Donor Services, Foundation Dept., Hospital Services, HLA and Cord Blood, Health fairs and special events. The theme this year was “Winter Wonderland”. Every table was given a Styrofoam snowman to decorate. The Directors of Community Blood Services had a difficult time choosing the best decorated Snowman since they were all so very unique! Table 3 was the winner. The volunteers who were at that table are Elaine and Jack Mandler, Terry and Bob Dressel, Lidia and Orazio DiCarlo, Ceilia Bentz and Diana Bono. Each volunteer was awarded a prize for their creation of “The Red Hat Lady”. It was a fun time for all. We encourage anyone who would like to join this great team of volunteers to call MaryAnn Siniscalchi at the volunteer office at 201 389-0459. Next year you could be dining with us and having fun!
