Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ, on site cell #201-981-6455 WHEN: Media Preview: Thursday, January 19, 11:00 a.m.; Show 6-8pm As founder of Rosica Public Relations, a 31-year old national firm based in Paramus, John Rosica is an acknowledged cause-marketing pioneer. He has been ‘doodling’ for more than four decades without realizing it was, in fact, a creative art form. As a record executive with RCA, Paramount and A&M Records in New York and Los Angeles as well as the public relations and marketing firm he founded in 1980, he created doodles in boardrooms and meetings. Today, on the advice if an artist, he has had many of them enlarged and framed, with proceeds to benefit various charitable organizations. They will be shown for the first time at a preview showing on January 19 and will continue to be on display at the Picture-Spa from the 19th to the 28th of January. Beginning in the late 1950s, Rosica began a 20-year career as a marketing executive in the recording industry in its heyday working with many famous artists and musicians. His second career was as founder of a public relations firm that gained its reputation by creating the fame of Wally Amos and by having him become spokesman for the then little-known cause of adult functional illiteracy. Today, John he has discovered his inner artist and doodles for fun and charity. According to copperwiki.org., doodling appears to allow a person’s subconscious to work and the brain to concentrate. John Rosica has been inducted into the Public Relations Hall of Fame http://www.blinkx.com/video/interview-with-john-rosica-chief-strategist-rosica-pr/N2ZiEZmzishL4I9T6qR2BA
