The Company Theatre Group, Inc. will host its first annual one act play festival: Writes of Spring - a series of short plays by very talented writers. The event will be held in a café style setting on Saturday April 6th, 2013. Presented by Company Members for their Spring Fundraising Event. There will be prizes, wine, and food in addition to the show.

The Company Theatre Group, Inc. will host its first annual one act play festival: Writes of Spring - a series of short plays by very talented writers. The event will be held in a café style setting on Saturday April 6th, 2013. Presented by Company Members for their Spring Fundraising Event. There will be prizes, wine, and food in addition to the show. The event will be held at: Nunnbetter Dance Studio 161 Woodbine Street Bergenfield, NJ The Saturday April 6th show will have a reception at 7:00pm. And, the show will begin approximately 7:45pm. Everyone is encouraged to come enjoy a little wine & food and meet Company Members before the show. They will be eager to chat with all attendees. Seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased online at: http://theatrecompany.biz/tickets Our early buy ticket price of $35 will increase to $45 on 3/31. Get yours before they're all gone. All proceeds will go toward the operating expenses of the Company in 2013, including our unfunded free ticket program for senior centers in the community The Company Theatre Group, Inc. is a non-profit theatre company currently resident in Hackensack, NJ, where it provides low cost, professional theatre to the surrounding communities. Like the Group Theatre, The Company believes in creating authentic human behavior on stage – “Life in Fiction” we like to call it. Our goal is create an environment and an experience where each audience member can feel like a fly on the wall, watching the lives of real people unfold and sometimes unravel right before their eyes. We also work hard to give thought provoking entertainment to everyone who comes to our productions. In May of 2008, The Company produced its first show, Chapter Two, at the Hackensack Cultural Arts Center. In January of 2009, The Company became The Company Theatre Group, Inc. In July of 2009, The Company became a 501c3, non-profit organization. And, in Jan 2013, we began celebrating the beginning of our 5th year of operation.
