Parenting with Common Sense is a parenting education group featuring the evidenced-based Common Sense Parenting® model. Through an interactive, skill-based approach, parents learn practical and effective parenting methods to address issues of communication, discipline, decision making, relationships, self-control and school success.
This presentation focuses on one of the 6 elements of Common Sense Parenting, Encouraging Good Behavior.
Here is a resource for parents of children ages 6 to 16 facing a myriad of family challenges: a teen who is defiant; siblings who constantly argue; a child having difficulty in school, or parents and children who occupy the same house but do not communicate or have fun together anymore. Common Sense Parenting® provides parents with a menu of proven techniques that will aid them in building good family relationships, preventing and correcting misbehavior, using consequences to improve behavior, teaching self-control, and staying calm.
