A worthy effort, they helped beautify the space behind the Paramus Library where the Paramus Cultural Council had seen fit to offer their weekly summer entertainment. The Cultural Council had refurbished the Bandshell which, built by Paramus Rotary over 20 years prior, had fallen into disrepair. One problem: they moved the flowerboxes built for and donated by the newly formed Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club.

Gluten Free Katz Products Expands With New Items

Katz
There was an exciting e-mail from my friend Joseph at Katz Gluten Free Bake Shop; they had come out with new products. As always, Joseph sent me samples of the new product which arrived by UPS with instructions to Freeze Immediately. I complied! For a short while, that is! Curiosity overruled and the first item I tried was the gluten free apple pie. Now I’m sure you have had all kinds of apple pie including those cheap varieties which have more liquid filler than apples. This was not the case; there were lots of apples. It tasted so good that it didn’t last uneaten for long. Joseph also sent a gluten free cherry pie which Publishers Sophie and Sam Stone will enjoy.

www.ParamusPost.com happened to be in Ramsey on the night of their annual parade on Main Street. Outdated Regulations Stifle N.J. Investment And Growth By John Harmon

John Harmon
It is often said that good things take time. For several months, lawmakers in New Jersey have been considering reform bill S-2664, known as the Market Competition and Consumer Choice Act. The African-American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and the National Black Chamber of Commerce support the bill because it will modernize rules in the communications sector, and signal that New Jersey is a pro-business state by eliminating unnecessary red tape that continues to burden our economy. Consumers and businesses in the 21st century cannot function properly utilizing 20th century technology. Similarly, communications providers cannot move forward if they are trapped in a regulatory environment designed for the last century
