Workout at Work: Employee Walks 630 Miles (Loses 26 lbs.) At Her Desk


Cindy Mayhak of Vancouver, Washington has walked 630 miles and lost 26 lbs this year, all without ever leaving her office. Meetings Of The Paramus Board Of Shade Tree & Parks Commission 2012


The Board of Shade Tree & Parks Commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month except for July and August when the meetings are combined in one meeting at the end of July.  The meetings are held at the Mark S. Hillman Board Room in the Shade Tree & Parks Commission office located on the first floor of the Life Safety & Municipal Services Building in the Municipal Complex off Carlough Drive or East Century Road.  The meetings start at 7:30 P.M., except re-organization in January, which starts at 7:00 p.m.

According to autism statistics from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated one in 110 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with autism – a 600 percent increase in the past two decades. To help address this trend and support autism research and advocacy efforts, Allstate Insurance Company (NYSE: ALL) announced the launch of the “Quotes for Autism Speaks” program. As part of the program, Allstate will donate $10 to Autism Speaks for every insurance quote that is completed between November 14 and December 31, 2011, with the goal of raising $500,000 for the cause.
