Recently, through a captivating archaeological dig taking place steps away from the pavilion exhibiting the Liberty Bell, their story is unfolding as Philadelphians and visitors to the seat of American independence come to grips with a largely unknown chapter of their history.

Through tears, I am writing about my beloved Chousu ... not even mine ... he belonged to my daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids. But we bonded! I dog-sat Chousu whenever the family wished to vacation ... I loved him to death and he loved Grandma. He was 1st on the scene, 16 1/2 years ago, before Brandon and Taylor arrived.

The Grand Opening of the Lodi Shop Rite was indeed grand! Simply because of construction on the road, just before the Shop Rite, it took about 30 minutes for the 4 mile ride! Glad to finally arrive there ~ sad to find there was not a parking space to be found anywhere near the door. There are way too few handicapped parking spots also, in my opinion.
Of course I'm prejudiced ~ we know that ~ I'm a grandma ...
My grandson plays baseball for a Paramus Summer Tournament team. They are 12 years old and terrific! I can't believe how well they 'cover for each other' ~ they're so good at it! Brandon excels at 1st base and centerfield, and he runs so fast ~ ( maybe he should do track). When he pitches, Grandma cringes! Being a "lefty" he's pretty good; but it's such a challenging position, I feel.
